Audio GuideSchönbrunn

Find out how it all (perhaps) began with a hunting trip, how Mozart managed to embarrass both an empress and a princess in a single evening, and why the Habsburgs wanted Roman ruins and Egyptian hieroglyphs in their garden. Spoiler: both are fake.

Schönbrunn Escape Game

I usually only come to Schönbrunn for the Christmas market, so this was a great way to see more of the palace gardens. Some of the riddles were pretty hard, but the hints are a nice help.

Vienna Old Town Audio Guide

A pleasant way to explore Vienna, with interesting details. My daughter lives here, and even she learned a lot she didn’t know before.

Honestly brilliant. It’s like a podcast — but for sightseeing. You listen while you’re actually looking at the place. We’ve already booked the Schönbrunn tour for tomorrow. The only thing to fault is that there are only two tours so far.

Ringstraße Audio Guide

A fun and informative walk along the Ring. Also for people who already know Vienna. The pictures in the info sections are great for imagining what it really was like back then.

The Imperial Crypt riddle gave me a headache. But I had a lot of fun. I can only recommend it.

Now those were creative puzzles — and a few of them genuinely had us stuck! Highly recommended for puzzle fans.

Audio guide FAQ

Before you set off

How long does the walk really take?
About 30 minutes of audio in total. With a relaxed pace and a few photo stops, expect to be out for 1.5–2 hours.
Can I walk the route in either direction?
Yes — in the audio guide, you can swap start and end with a single tap right in the stop list.
What are the palace park opening hours?
Opening hours vary by season (entry from 6:30 am):
Jan / Feb
until 5:30 pm
Mar
until 7:00 pm
Apr
until 8:00 pm
May – Jul
until 9:00 pm
Aug / Sep
until 8:00 pm
Oct
until 7:00 pm
Nov / Dec
until 5:30 pm
What do I do if the weather’s bad or I don’t finish?
A coffee break is half the fun anyway. And if the rain really won’t let up, you can pick up where you left off another day.
Can I pause the audio guide and continue later?
Yes — once you start, you’ve got 7 days of access from the same device.
Do I pay per person or as a group?
Both: for 1–3 people you pay per person and get one code each. From 4 people the group price is the better deal — one code for up to 6 people who join via QR code. For bigger groups (school classes, company outings, family parties), get in touch — we’ll sort something out.
