Quest FAQ

Before you set off

How long does the Schönbrunn Quest really take?
Around 2.5 hours, depending on group size, breaks and pace. You can pause whenever you like.
Do I need any background knowledge?
No — the puzzles are built so every clue can be found right on the spot.
Is the Quest wheelchair-accessible?
Mostly yes — every station can be reached. Two things to bear in mind: the park paths are almost entirely gravel, and the climb up to the Gloriette is fairly steep. Wheelchair and stroller users should check the route in advance.
What are the palace park opening hours?
Opening hours vary by season (entry from 6:30 am):
Jan / Feb
until 5:30 pm
Mar
until 7:00 pm
Apr
until 8:00 pm
May – Jul
until 9:00 pm
Aug / Sep
until 8:00 pm
Oct
until 7:00 pm
Nov / Dec
until 5:30 pm
What if we get stuck on a puzzle?
Every puzzle comes with two hints. And if you’re still stumped, the solution is always one tap away — nobody gets left behind.
What about rain?
Caught in a downpour? Just pick up where you left off another day.
Can I pause the Quest and continue later?
Yes — once you start, you’ve got 7 days of access from the same device.
Is there a group discount for more than 6 people?
One code covers up to 6 people. For bigger groups (school classes, company outings, family parties), get in touch — we’ll sort something out.
